Open Studios 2022

I will be opening my house (151 Hobart Road, CB1 3PS) to visitors from 10 am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday 2nd and 3rd of July, and then again the following weekend 9th and 10th of July. This is part of the famous yellow-flagged Cambridge Open Studios that take place every July.
If you are coming with children (and they are very welcome) do encourage them to bring some of their art to discuss with me. Adults are often so self-effacing about their artwork, but children never are – and we should learn from them. For adults and children alike, there will be elderflower cordial and seating in the garden and conservatory – I like to feel that people can relax whilst they are here and just soak up the colours.

To make your life easier, I have coordinated with the ten other artists who live in the square between the railway, Mill Road, Cherry Hinton Road and the ring road to form the Coleridge Art Trail (available as a download and also available from outside my front door if you are passing). Most of us have coordinated to be open at least for weekends 1 and 2, which means you can make a real day of it. And we have some very special artists – including my top favourites, Andy Dakin, Gary Dadd and Birgitte Bruun, all of whom I have purchased from myself. There’s no greater recommendation I can give!
