Charlotte asked for a painting of her house, but wasn’t sure what view she wanted, or even that would be possible. The house is a converted chapel, and is on an unusual site, surrounded on all sides by other houses. I went with my daughter on this photo shoot, and she gallantly offered to climb a high step ladder to get just the right view. I loved the clean lines of the white-rendered building.
