Joseph approached me about commissioning a painting after he had been admiring my paintings in a Hot Numbers exhibition, and my mother came over and introduced herself as the mother of the artist. Cringe!
Joseph was looking for a wedding present for two very close friends, who had shared their first kiss on Darwin College Island. When I went to take photos, Joseph helped me on the phone with geolocations to confirm that I had the right place!
