I was asked by the Master and Developement Director of Christ’s College to work on some paintings of the College. This involved me visiting the college on a number of occasions and scouting out good locations and fresh ideas. As always, I like to do something a bit out of the ordinary – a view or a composition that hasn’t been done before – hard in Cambridge, which must be one of the most drawn cities in the world! We then agreed a shortlist, and I worked with those. Watch this space, as the plan for the paintings, as well as hanging in college, is to be reproduced possibly as college merchandise.
