I am now so excited to say that this July, I shall be holding my beloved Cambridge Open Studios weekends again. Actually in person! I’m Studio 48 in the Cambridge Open Studios online guide and app. Opening 11am to 6pm on the first two weekends in July, at 151 Hobart Rd, Cambridge CB1 3PS – the house with the front door painted Open Studios yellow. That’s 3rd/4th and 10th/11th July. Do come if you can!
The plan is to have people walk through the extremely well-ventilated house (the front and back doors are propped open, with a healthy draught whistling through). The downstairs rooms will have my art on display, and then it is out into the garden, under a big sturdy waterproof gazebo for the lovely social side of the event. There will be places to sit and chat in a safe way. I’ve decided not to serve cake this year, to be super safe, but there will still be water and elderflower cordial if it is hot. Maybe I should get some hot toddies in case it isn’t!
I do have new paintings to show you, including two recent commissions for the University of Cambridge. There will also be some of my originals at ridiculously bargain prices, and of course, the whole range of my prints, cards and gifts.
